My name is Md. Rokibur Rahman, nick name ROkib RAj and I am from Bangladesh. I am a collector of Banknote, Coin, Prize bond, Post card, FDC, ATM Card, Mobile Sim Holder & Recharge Card, Pin Badge etc. At first I am very grateful to Almighty Allah for giving me dedication, energy to fulfill my hobby. Also grateful to my family members who are helping me to increase my collection. Special thanks to my wife who help me to enrich my collection.
I collect Bangladeshi banknotes depending on the year, signature and design. Along with this, I collect Specimen note & Commemorative notes. I also collect prize bonds based on the signatures, bank seal and designs of various finance secretaries and governors. Apart from the bank notes of Bangladesh, among other countries of the world, my favorite bank notes are Indian bank notes. And I am basically trying to collect all Indian bank notes printed or issued from 1947 to present time. In this collection I focus on the signatures, designs of various finance secretaries and governors.
I also collect used mobile recharge cards and SIM holders in Bangladesh.
Collecting mobile recharge cards and SIM holders is a kind of “telecom memorabilia collection”. It can show future generations how mobile technology has changed in Bangladesh. Even though digital recharge systems are now in place, old recharge cards and SIM holders are now a special attraction for collectors. For me, collecting mobile recharge cards and SIM holders is not just about hoarding old things; it is a living document of memory, history, and the evolution of technology.
