I am Dr. Mesbah Rony, a medical teacher by profession and a passionate collector of historical artifacts. My primary interest lies in collecting items related to my country, spanning from ancient Bengal to modern Bangladesh.
Since childhood, I have been especially fascinated by memorabilia and objects that carry historical and cultural significance. I do not collect in bulk; rather, I focus on carefully selected and meaningful pieces.
My journey began in 1982 with collecting Bangladeshi matchboxes. Due to academic commitments, I was compelled to pause my collection in 1985. However, my passion never faded. In 2010, I resumed collecting with renewed dedication. Since 2018, I have connected with various collector groups and continue to engage actively with fellow enthusiasts.
My humble advice to new collectors: collect with precision, patience, and purpose.
