My journey as a collector began in childhood. My father, who was working in Brunei as an expatriate, introduced me to the fascinating world of numismatics by giving me a few coins and banknotes. Those small pieces of currency ignited a lasting curiosity. From that moment, my interest grew whenever I encountered old or uniquely designed notes and coins.

With more than 15 years of collecting experience, I have been fortunate to build a collection that now includes banknotes and coins from over 170 countries. My primary passion lies in banknotes, particularly Bangladeshi currency, foreign notes, polymer issues, and commemorative releases. Alongside banknotes, my coin collection has also expanded significantly.

Beyond numismatics, my interests extend to collecting stamps, matchboxes, antiques, bus tickets, and various forms of memorabilia. I have also preserved educational materials and documents from my earliest years of learning to the present, reflecting my deep appreciation for history, memory, and continuity.

For me, numismatics is far more than a hobby. It serves as a window into a nation’s history, heritage, and defining moments. My academic background in Government and Politics has further strengthened this perspective, as currency often embodies elements of international politics, archaeology, history, culture, and religion — subjects that deeply fascinate me.

I aspire to continue expanding my collection and preserving it as a meaningful legacy for future generations. My lifelong dream is to establish a museum dedicated to this passion, and I remain committed to working toward that goal.
