Md. Farhadur Rahman

My name is Md. Farhadur Rahman (John), and I am a doctor by profession. I have completed MBBS from Rajshahi Medical College and MD in Medical Microbiology from BSMMU (now BMU). Alongside my medical career, I have a strong passion for history, which inspires my hobby of collecting coins and antiques and deepens my appreciation for the past. I also enjoy traveling, as it gives me the opportunity to explore new places, cultures, and historical landmarks. I value continuous learning and meaningful experiences, and I strive to maintain a balanced life by combining professional dedication with my personal interests.

My primary interest is to collect ancient coins of Indian Subcontinent. But I also collect antiques, Bangladeshi bank notes, old non-judicial stamps related to local land lords, fossils, books, signatures etc.    

 I am currently a member of EC committee of  Bangladesh Numismatic Collectors’ Society (BNCS) and serving as office secretary.
