My name is Md. Sabbirul Islam, a dedicated numismatist based in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, with a collecting journey that began in 2003 when I was a student in Class 5. Over more than two decades, I have built a diverse and comprehensive collection that spans all types of banknotes and coins from across the globe. While my collection is wide-ranging, I have a particular preference for big and odd denomination banknotes, banknotes with beautiful and colorful themes, and rare coins, as these pieces represent the most unique chapters of monetary history.
As a Life Member of both the Bangladesh Numismatic Collectors Society (BNCS) and the Khulna Collectors Society (KCS), I am deeply involved in the numismatic community. My ultimate goal is to achieve a truly global reach by collecting at least one banknote and one coin from every country in the world. Through this portfolio, I aim to document my progress toward this ambitious milestone and connect with fellow collectors who share my passion for the artistry and heritage found in every piece of currency.
