I am Nahid Ahmed Shibly from Dhaka, working in the private sector. I am a numismatist by passion, and from my childhood I have been collecting ancient and medieval coins of the subcontinent, along with rare banknotes, postage stamps, manuscripts, and a wide range of cultural artifacts. My collection also includes pottery, terracotta, ritual objects, bids, silver items, glassware, porcelain, and other relics of heritage.
To me, these coins and artifacts are not just objects—they are the whispers of the past. I collect them not only to preserve history, but also as a way to find peace, reduce stress and sorrow, and give deeper meaning to life.
