I am a dedicated collector with a broad and diverse range of interests spanning several categories of vintage and historical items. My collection includes vintage wristwatches, classic writing instruments, die-cast toy cars, particularly Hot Wheels, along with lighters such as Zippo and vintage trench lighters, and collectible sunglasses. While these areas reflect my general passion for vintage artifacts, the primary focus of my collection is numismatics. Within this field, I focused on coins from the Indian subcontinent and beyond, including Presidency coinage, East India Company issues, British India coins, coins of Bangladesh from the Pakistan period, as well as those from independent Bangladesh. Additionally, I collect American cents and U.S. Star notes, which add an international dimension to my collection. Among all these categories, British Indian coinage remains my foremost area of interest. My approach to collecting is both systematic and research-oriented. I strive to acquire coins based on their date, mint, and variety, with a particular emphasis on well-preserved, high-grade specimens. I am especially drawn to low-denomination coins and those struck in base metals such as copper, brass, copper-nickel, and nickel-brass, as they often exhibit fascinating variations and historical significance. Beyond collecting, I actively engage in the study and documentation of numismatic findings. I have authored several articles on British Indian coinage and related topics, which have been published in various cities through both print and digital platforms.
